FAQ
Is Parsed Parcels a bid portal?
No. We are research maps only. County tax sales are bid on GovEase. SOS land uses the official Secretary of State process.
Which counties are covered?
Free and Atlas maps cover Hancock and Harrison today (SOS tax-forfeited and county tax-sale inventories). Additional counties are in progress.
What is the difference between SOS Atlas and Tax sale Atlas?
SOS is state tax-forfeited land (applications). Tax sale is a county certificate sale. Scores and tiers are different models; a “75” on one is not the same as on the other.
Do I get fee-simple title the day I bid at a tax sale?
Usually not. You typically buy a tax certificate with redemption rules. Confirm with counsel and the county before you bid.
Why do I need to sign in for Atlas?
Paid research layers (scores, flood screens, deeper fields) sit behind login so access matches your purchase. Free maps stay public.
I paid but Atlas still asks me to sign in
Sign in with the same email used at checkout. If it still fails, email hello@parsedparcels.com with that address and we will untangle entitlement.
Do Atlas plans auto-renew? How do I cancel?
Yes. Atlas plans renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal for your payment provider (the manage link appears on Pricing / receipts once checkout is live). Sign in with the same email you used at checkout. Access normally continues through the end of the period you already paid for. See also Refund Policy.
Are liens verified on the map?
No. Use county land records and professionals. Our Resources page links the main portals for Hancock and Harrison.
Could this help our county or state office?
Possibly. If clearer public inventory maps would reduce repeat questions or help residents orient before sale week, email us. We are practical about data licensing, hosting, and what stays free vs paid.
Do you offer whitelabel or custom data solutions?
Yes—case by case. Examples: branded research maps for a brokerage or county workflow, curated extracts for a specific inventory, or hosted screens that keep your name forward while we handle the data craft. Start with what jurisdiction and audience you serve; we will say clearly what is productized vs custom. Email hello@parsedparcels.com with “whitelabel” in the subject.
Where do refunds get explained?
In short, there are no refunds once Atlas access is unlocked: this is digital research software delivered immediately at sign-in, not a physical good or ongoing services contract you can “return.” Full wording appears at checkout; map footers keep a short research-use note so we do not bury surprise terms in the product chrome.
